The ALZO Smoothy Weight accessory increases stabilization. It can be added to the base of the Smoothy Pod as well as to the base of the Smoothy Rig. If you’re using a DSLR camera for the Smoothy Rig, a counter weight is not really necessary, it is most suited for lightweight camcorders that don’t add sufficient weight to stabilize the rig.
These 10 ounce weights can be stacked as they include a 1/4″ x 20 screw thread hole in the bottom.
