The ALZO Wheelchair Camera Mount is a versatile, heavy-duty camera mounting device. This solid metal, bendable device is intended to mount any camera to a round or square metal post up to 1 1/2 inches thick. In the example shown here, the super clamp is attached to the armrest post, with the armrest pad removed. The ALZO Flex Arm provides ample angle adjustment while assuring stable and firm camera support. The ALZO camera flipper provides rapid camera 90-degree re-positioning from landscape to portrait.

We understand that there are many makes and models of wheelchairs and there may be additional parts required for the perfect camera mount solution for your chair.  We have always provided the extra hardware required at minimal additional cost. Please contact us by phone so that we can solve your mounting problem. Phone 800-582-7009.

The typical camera height above the super clamp with a 90 degree bent flex arm is about 12 inches. If your wheelchair requires the super clamp to attach to a low mount point on your chair, then you will need to add a solid extension rod.  We can supply this extension in any length required.  In order to determine the perfect length of the solid extension, it is best to fit the ALZO Wheelchair camera mount to your buggy and then determine the height of the extension. Please contact us by phone so that we can solve your camera mounting. Phone 800-582-7009.

Wheelchair Camera Mount

It's pretty good: the components are heavy duty and likely to last. The bendable and somewhat twistable main bar will hold most SLRs as long as you're not using a really long tele lens.
The connector pins are well made but the design could use some rethinking. Major negative: no instructions or diagrams are provided. This should be done ASAP. There are parts included which really help adapt the device to a variety of possible wheelchair designs but I would never have guessed how to use them until I called the company, AlzoDigital. Their rep was super helpful and helped me more fully understand the device so I can help my client get the most use out of it. I have searched diligently but cannot find any other mount worth considering. I am an Assistive Technology Specialist and this device is one I'll recommend again.

Have just started using it, but have had good results. I only have use of one hand and with a remote shutter cable I can move my power wheelchair into position and snap a photo quickly.having the camera attached directly to the chair means I can move around and be ready to shoot as soon as I am stopped.
