I purchased for use with a copy stand to create reference images of documents. When screwed into the copystand the ipad was a little too heavy and bent town slightly. However, with an phone it works great. The attachment would work better if you were intending to use it oriented up instead of diagonal. Something to consider! Also very happy with the quick shipping and price.
