If you use your phone to stream or record video you need a good microphone to significantly improve the quality of the audio. This ALZO product includes the ALZO Smartphone 3.5mm TRRS Break-Out Cord to allow for headphone audio monitoring during playback. Standard video apps do not provide audio monitoring while recording; to monitor audio when recording video, you will need to use a pro video recording app like Open Camera, Cinema FV5, Filmic Pro.

The 10 dB gain boost is helpful to reduce recorder noise level. The high cut filter is used to remove rumble and other low-frequency sounds.

Compatible with iPhones 4, 5, 6 (iPhone 7 requires the use of lightning to headset adapter supplied with your phone); also compatible with most Android phones including Samsung, LG. Motorola, Google and more.
