  • Ideal for overhead photography of small object and jewelry photography including coins, stamps, medication, books, DVDs, toys, scientific objects ...
  • Includes a quick release with 1/4 x 20 thread for easy camera attachment and release
  • Smart Imaging: the 29-inch tilt angled and height-adjustable aluminum post is unique and the only one available on the market. The tilt angle increases the imaging field as the camera is raised and keeps the post out of the image field.
  • The solid composite base measures 19 x 16 inches
  • Bright white cleanable melamine finish
  • Maximum camera weight = 7 lbs

Jewelry photography or small object photography is fun and easy with the ALZO Copy Stand. This Macro Tabletop Studio device is ideal for overhead (close-up) imaging of very small or flat objects like jewelry, coins, stamps, medication, and scientific work. The sturdy tilt angled aluminum camera support post is 29 inches high and has a 19-inch x 16-inch laminated solid composite base with white melamine finish.

The camera attaches to the support arm with a quick release plate, and the side wheel drives a rack and pinion for accurate dialing of the adjustable height. The screw below the quick release plate adjusts the drag resistance of the camera support (see image with screwdriver). There is a position locking thumb screw on the back of the height adjuster.

The solid and heavy-duty construction makes the ALZO Copy Stand for Macro Tabletop Studio a stable shooting system for professional commercial product photography of jewelry and small objects.

We recommend reading our close up photography information page to familiarize yourself with the common camera accessories used in macro close-up photography.

A little lighter than expected, but appears to be sturdy and well built. It is also a bit taller than some of the other models on the market.I believe it will suit my needs well. Arrived quickly and was well packaged. Instructions included.

I'n glad I switched

I had previously ordered a competitors model from the much larger NY company with the "&" between two letters. When it arrived, I sent it back unopened because in the meantime, upon further research, I learned that not only was the Alzo copy stand less expensive, it was better constructed and had more features -- an all metal camera attachment head instead of plastic. I'm very pleased with both the price and the quality.

Great copy stand!

This was the most affordable copy stand I could find upon purchase. I The alternative was looking into DIY options but I wanted something built for the job. For the fair price, it is quite sturdy and works exactly for my purposes. I am currently using it to digitally scan and archive my film photo work. It holds my Canon 6D Mk ii with a macro lens. It carries the camera well and it was easy to assemble.

A great copy stand

It is a great copy stand. I am not a professional photographer and this copy stand is working out really well for me. I use it with my Nikon D3300 camera. I have some photos that I want to add to family histories that I don't have negatives for. This is a sturdy stand. When I received the stand there was a small allen wrench included. I did figure out what it was for. A few days later I received and email from Alzo Digital explaining that is to remove a set screw on the back of the main carriage. I would recommend this copy stand.

Copy stand

Great product. I use for negative and slide digitization. Highly recommended. Much easier than using a tripod mounted camera. I use it with a Sony A7R4 and the razor sharp just released Sigma 105mm dg dn macro lens.
