This device easily mounts to a video tripod while allowing for unobstructed battery compartment access; 9 mounting holes in the top bar provide many mounting options for optimal versatility; the end shoe mounts can be removed for mounting devices with 1/4 inch x 20 screw mounts; 2 comfortable hand grips offer secure handling and stability for handheld shooting.
