The ALZO suspended ceiling light mount kit easily attaches to the framing of a suspended ceiling with special frame X-clamps. A great solution for lighting high traffic areas or small studios where floor stands would be in the way. In addition, this is an excellent solution for background lighting and I.D. portrait set-ups. The kit includes 2 X-Clamp light mounts and 4 T-Bar hooks. The installation may require the addition of support wires connecting the framing to the true ceiling. This product can be combined with ALZO 16 inch extension rod and ALZO 25 foot power extension cord with 3 illuminated outlets.

The standard rated load of the ALZO Suspended Drop Ceiling Photo Video Light Mount Kit is 4 pounds, assuming a proper secure attachment of the suspended ceiling T-Bar frame to the true ceiling.

When exceeding 4 lbs. of total supported weight, additional suspended ceiling T-Bar frame support wires must be affixed near the mounting scissor clips to the true ceiling. If the light mount scissor clips are located near the true ceiling support wires, and these wires are sufficient strength, then the weight of the light could be as high as 10 pounds.
