This is the fabric diffuser of the ALZO DRUM Overhead Light exclusive of the sockets, extenders, and clamps. This diffuser includes a thick silver coated fabric top with an 8-inch diameter access hole in the center. The 1M round bottom diffuser includes a 180-degree edge zipper to allow access to the interior when the diffuser is attached to a ceiling support.
Includes a zippered storage jacket. Use this with your own CFL or LED lights or a studio flashlight (monolight) and a speeding. Can not be used as a side light. This is only a down light diffuser. This diffuser does not include a support or attachment device.
I bought these because I needed the equivalent of a space light, but in a shorter form factor. These are great if you have low ceilings, especially since space light skirts can be long.
Very functional and perfect size for our needs
Saved a lot by using our own LED lights. Still kind of expensive for what it is but it is the only thing I’ve found on the market like it so I’m quite pleased and hope they continue to stock them!
We are using this for some LED panel Lights. They do a job similar to Tungsten Spacelight skirts, but have a wider diffusion range. They are nice and compact too. We use them in our studio, so height is not an issue, but if you were in a house or office, they stay up and out of the way quite well.
