Most AZDEN shotgun microphones with shock mounts fit inside the ALZO Multi-Mount 2.5 inch inner height as shown. The Rode VideoMicro Compact with Rycote Lyre Shock Mount does NOT fit inside the ALZO Multi-Mount.
The Alzo Digital Multi-Mount is a lightweight but sturdy all-aluminum mounting device for audio recording devices such as the Zoom H4n, video lights, monitors and other gadgets used for DSLR video and audio recording. It consists of 1 hex frame with 4 shoe mounts and 5 holes for mounting holes for additional devices and a shoe mount for secure attachment to a camera. Also includes 1/4 inch x 20 thread on shoe mount for attachment to tripod or light stand; it is easily assembled and customized. Dimensions: Width: 3.75 inches; height: 2.5 inches (clearance inside mount). Weight: 5.5 ounces. Combine with Mini Ball Mount for attaching equipment, such as LCD monitor.
The ALZO Multi-Mount includes 4 STANDARD shoe mounts with 18.5 mm width. These shoe mounts have been tested to be compatible with many professional video accessories from the following manufacturers: Audio Technica, AZDEN, Sennheiser, RODE, Marshal, Ikan, Flashpoint and more. As some comments indicate, a fit problem with the Multi-Mount's shoe mounts it is likely the fault of the non-standard Chinese-made devices with plastic shoe mounts.
