 When
attempting to shoot directly over an object, a tripod will not position a
camera properly. Our ALZO Horizontal Camera Mount "HCM" uses a mini-clamp
that can be attached to any vertical bar up to 1" in diameter. Clamping the
Camera Mount to the adjustable shaft of a tripod (as shown on the right)
allows the camera to be moved up and down using the tripod crank.
Our ALZO Horizontal Camera
Mount consists of a 30" x 5/8" diameter solid aluminum bar with a universal
camera screw mount on one end and the mini-clamp (as shown on left). The
mini-clamp has a winged set screw to allow the camera/bar to be horizontally
positioned.
Maximum recommended camera
weight is 2 lbs.
The HCM is ideal for shooting
small objects that can not easily "stand up" on their own for a frontal shot.
