Pair up your portable flash with the Flash Bracket Umbrella Kit and produce studio quality images when you’re on location shooting a wedding, a corporate event, etc. This economical flash bracket kit works with most portable speedlights including Canon and Nikon TTL-dedicated flash (must have sync cord trigger connection). Kit includes ALZO Flip Flash Bracket with horizontal flash mount bar with 2 shoe mounts and umbrella mount hole and white photo umbrella.
My partner showed this to me and I was sold! I ordered it immediately. I have some physical challengens and with this device on a monopod I am able to take photos.
Did some test shots with and without and I completely satisfied
Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer
I am a student of PhotoJournalism at Arkansas State University and I have not had a chance to use my flip flash kit as of yet. I am just finishing school for the year and will be off for the summer and then back again in the fall for Advanced Photojournalism. I look forward to trying some photo shoots with the local Red Hat group and maybe the Baptist Church group here in our little town. I will try to let you know how things go with it. Thanks I really think I will like using it and look forward to many times that I will use it in the future. Janice Morgan
Pros: solid does the job and smooth
Cons: none really
Best Uses: when used with a mono pod makes a very stable and solid platform for a run and gun kind of job
Describe Yourself: Professional Photographer
For my use this is the ideal tool, makes it very easy to get the job done. It is heavy and I recommend using a mono pod with it, otherwise no complaints. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to shoot on the run and wants a stable camera platform to work with. Easy to use and I love it.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Pros: Unit is compact and works well
Cons: Shaft on umbrella flimsy
Best Uses: Portrait and close up work
Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast
Overall the unit is great except for the shaft on the umbrella. When tightened in the holding fixture the shaft starts collapsing with very little pressure. After several uses the brass end piece falls out, the shaft becomes flattened and umbrella becomes loose allowing the umbrella to move. I would suggest a longer, say 2 inch, piece of solid material be placed in the end of the shaft so there is something solid to clamp to. Once I modified mine in this manner it now works great.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comment by ALZO: We recommend inserting the umbrella shaft a little further into the holding fixture so it sticks out about 1 inch on the other end. If you tighten it too close to the brass end, it wears out faster.
