Nice, handy device

After using it on a couple of shoots wish it had a tilt head but oh well It is what it is. At almost 80 I'm not as nimble as I used to be thus the desire for the tilt feature but it is a nice monopod. Happy trails. BK

I Love this Monopod

I purchased ALZO All Metal Monopod with Quick Release in July 2014, and with pleasure I write this review to help anyone looking for a high quality monopod at an unbelievable price. I am a Manfrotto fan and I ordered this item since after watching their videos on Alzo tripods I thought of testing the products. When it arrived by post from the packing to the item the highest quality....nothing else. It's solid, very firm, the rubber grip is very comfortable to hand, the rubber tip at the bottom is fitted very firmly. The air cushioned height adjustment is very useful when you need to lower the height of the pod; the knobs for fastening the tubes are very comfortable to handle without sharp ridges. I am happiest because its quick release platform gets fitted firmly with the camera piece that belongs to my Manfrotto 290 dual tripod so that I can leave it fitted to the camera fultime and use on either Manfrotto or Alzo. Overall its a very ergonomically designed quality monopod that one can own at a price about 1/4 the cost of a comparable Manfrotto monopod. The only problem that I have is that without the ball head the inability to tilt the cam. I have ordered an Alzo mini ball head and eagerly waiting for its arrival. Alzo's website is very useful to select and purchase their products.

Fabulous, high-quality monopod at a ridiculously cheap price

This monopod is just awesome. Sturdy, solid, nice grip and strap, and a really excellent quick release (not a stupid flimsy one like you get with some expensive tripods!). All for only $24? Crazy good. I am a professional photographer and have used a lot of products over the years - and I have to say I am totally impressed with this monopod! I highly recommend it.
