short term observations

Describe Yourself: Occasional Photographer
Have not had the opportunity to use these bulbs much yet. But so far, have no problems. What I received was what I expected and, these days, that's a big plus.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Much better lighting

Pros: Easy replacement
Cons: A bit longer than normal CFLs
Describe Yourself: Occasional Photographer
I purchased these bulbs to replace the overhead lights above the mat in our martial arts school. Not only is the lighting now suitable for video and still photography without filters, but it is also just more pleasing for clients during training.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Pros: Good color!
Cons: Large base.
Best Uses: Household bulb replacement for reduced energy consumption and better light color.
Describe Yourself: Occasional Photographer
Very good. It would help if the base were smaller around so the product would fit into more light sockets. It would help if you had smaller sizes, to replace smaller wattage bulbs like 60 w and 100 w. -Abby
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

27 Watt Photo CFL

Pros: Accurate, comfortable, efficient
Cons: none
Best Uses: Photographic lighting, personal environmental lighting
Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast
Wonderful Lights. Actually purchased for household lighting as I wanted to save electricity while still preserving a comfortable and sun-like spectrum. I was not impressed with the offerings found in most hardware stores, but these are wonderful. They have also earned my favor with interior photography, letting me keep my colors accurate.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
