Our most
popular and most versatile
product photography imaging solution
Our ALZO light tents are very popular for
product photography because they are easy to use and produce excellent
results. They are essential for shooting highly reflective objects like
plastic, glass and metal, or when an "ultra soft" lighting effect is
desirable. We use a light tent with
ALZO "Cool Lites" to photograph all of the small products on this web
site.
USAGE:
Illuminated from the outside, the ALZO light tent acts as a diffusion room
surrounding the subject with soft diffuse light, greatly reducing glare.
Reflective objects are best imaged in a light tent because the surround
environment inside a light tent prevents image reflections of the room and the
photographer. A light tent is a perfect studio device that anyone can easily
master and produce professional images.
CONSTRUCTION:
Our ALZO light tents are constructed of a pure white nylon fabric supported by
a sewn-in spring metal wire frame and includes Velcro fasteners for attachment
of cover and paper grips. The paper sweeps inside the light tent are held in
place by 2 Velcro attached
paper grips,
allowing for versatility in positioning the backdrop.
WHY A PAPER BACKGROUND IS BETTER:
Four Paper background sweeps are supplied with the ALZO light tent. Paper
sweeps are a superior tent background compared to the wrinkled fabric liner
supplied by other vendors. Paper backgrounds are better because they always
remain flat and are offered in a very broad selection of colors. See our
background paper selection. We also include
a heavy duty paper tube to store the background paper.
The front cover has a full "top to bottom"
double zipper lens slit allowing for versatility in camera angle.

FREE SQUARE COVER:
Over the years, many of our customers called us because they had great
difficulty repackaging the 28" and 48" tents in the tiny shipping jacket.
Also, we found that repackaging
the light tents by twisting the metal frame caused wrinkles and excess
wear on the fabric, and sometimes caused damage to the frame. Today we supply
a square storage jacket with the 28" and 48" tents allowing for flat storage,
to reduce wrinkles and to prevent frame damage.
