ALZO Tent Details

Our ALZO 300 3 light tent kit contains of a set of ALZO 300 "Cool Lites", a 48" photo tent and an ALZO Studio Boom. ALZO 300 "Cool Lites" are Energy Star compliant, environmentally friendly and conserve energy. These continuous "cool" lights, aka flood lights, produce little heat, and are ideal for temperature-sensitive objects such as food, flowers and scientific applications.

The ALZO photo tent consists of 5 components:

• 48" wire frame, fabric cube Tent
• 4 Seamless Background Papers - 2 White, 1 Black, 1 Medium Gray with storage tube
• 2 Background Paper Support Grips
• Removable Front Cover
  with full top to bottom double zipper lens access slit
  (see pictures below*)
• Square Carry/Storage Jacket

ALZO Tents are also sold separately in three different sizes.

ALZO photo tents are very popular for product photography because they are easy to use and produce excellent results. They are essential in catalog photography for imaging highly reflective objects, particularly plastic, glass and metal, or when an "ultra soft" lighting effect is desirable. We used the 3 lights tent kit to photograph all of the small products on this web site. Examples of the quality product images produced by ALZO tents can be viewed in our digital cameras section.

Illuminated from the outside, the ALZO tent acts as a diffusion room surrounding the object with soft diffuse light, greatly reducing glare. Reflective objects are best imaged in a tent because the environment inside a tent prevents image reflections of the room and the photographer. A tent is a perfect studio device that anyone can easily master to produce professional images.

ALZO tents are constructed of a pure white nylon fabric supported by a sewn-in spring metal wire frame, and include Velcro fasteners for attachment of cover and paper grips. The paper sweeps inside the tent are held in place by 2 Velcro-attached paper grips, allowing for versatility in positioning the backdrop.

4 paper background sweeps are supplied with the ALZO Tent. Paper sweeps are better than the wrinkled fabric liners supplied with other tents, because they remain flat and offer a very broad color selection.
