FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY |

Flash photography can render stunning pictures, but requires skill and experience. |

| We recommend flash photography
for portraits and large objects. We believe that continuous light is best for
small product imaging, as less light is required and continuous lights are
easier to use and control. For optimal results with flash photography, we recommend having two or more flashlights to reduce shadows and improve image detail. One of the lights is set up as the primary "key" light source and the other(s) as the "fill" or "back" light. Many professional photographers use three or more of our lights for the ultimate light control. Two are placed in front of the object and the third and or forth is used to "backlight" the object and completely remove shadows from the background. We recommend and sell Photogenic and Smith Victor flash photography lighting equipment for portraits and large object imaging. Our flash kits range in price from under $200 to over $2000 and include umbrellas, softboxes, light stands, barndoors and cases.
