STEP
3:
INSTALL
HORIZONTAL BAR
With the horizontal bar fully
assembled, lay it on the floor where
you want your background.
Place the tripod stands over the bar
and position the vertical shafts of
the stands to align with the slotted
holes in the bar.
Raise the
vertical shaft of each tripod stand
to eye level and then place the
horizontal bar on to the pins as
shown. Adjust the stands so the pins
"float" in the slotted holes. Then
fasten the wing nuts and tighten
lightly.
DO NOT
OVER TIGHTEN.
STEP 4:
PAPER
INSTALLATION
53"
wide paper can be easily handled by
one person. 107" wide paper requires
2 people. Remove the
horizontal bar and with the roll
paper on the floor or other flat
surface, slide the horizontal bar
through the paper roll. Lift the
paper in the center of the roll and
lower one horizontal bar
slotted hole over one stand top pin,
and then the other. Then attach the
wing nuts.
Now adjust
the height of the background by
raising each stand in 1 foot steps.
Assure that the stand clamps are
tightened securely but do not
over-tighten the stand clamps.
When the
support is at maximum height of 10
feet with a 107" X 36' roll of
paper, it can be somewhat unstable.
Assure that the stands are on a flat
level surface and be careful not to
knock into the stands.
If you need
to move the Background Support,
first lower the stands in small
steps to eye level, remove the paper
and horizontal bar and then repeat
steps 3 and 4 above.
When
lowering the stands, always grab
hold of the stand section above the
clamp that is being loosened and
lower it slowly and re-tighten the
clamp.
We
recommend hardware store 6" spring
clamps to hold the paper to the
horizontal bar and prevent the paper
from unrolling.
