Camera Tripod - ALZO Ball Head USER GUIDE

CAMERA QUICK RELEASE PLATE - Plate is released by rotating QUICK RELEASE LEVER into "hold open" position. Plate attaches to camera with provided universal threaded screw mount and then snaps into position on tripod. QUICK RELEASE LEVER then closes and can be locked with QUICK RELEASE LATCH. BALL FRICTION CONTROL - Rotating the BALL FRICTION CONTROL allows fine adjustment of camera rotation friction, from loose to locked. RISER CLAMP - Tripod riser rod is raised and lowered by hand and locked into position by tightening this clamp. LEG RELEASE - The tripod legs can be set to 3 different open angles allowing for many tripod attitudes. Press LEG RELEASE in when opening leg angle to attain greater angles.

	QUICK RELEASE LATCH PIN The quick release latch pin is used to lock the camera QUICK RELEASE LEVER from opening unintentionally, thereby preventing camera accidental detachment from tripod. Normally this latch pin is in the released position. Once the camera is in place on the tripod, moving the QUICK RELEASE LATCH PIN to the locked position will prevent opening the QUICK RELEASE LEVER and removing the camera. Caution should be observed when using a tripod because supporting a camera on a tripod does not guarantee that a camera will not fall. Do not leave a camera unattended on a tripod where children or dogs could upset the tripod.

	INVERT RISER ROD This tripod function is used for "frogs eye view" photography. To invert the vertical support rod, first attach the camera quick release to your camera. Leave the camera unattached to the tripod. Then remove the rubber or plastic base attached to the bottom of the rod. Loosen the riser clamp and pull up the rod and remove it from the tripod. Now install the rod from the bottom as shown on the left, and then attach the camera. Tighten the riser clamp before attaching the camera.
