| Product: Alzo wireless shutter release |

from Richmond , Virginia Pros:
Ease of use Cons: none really Best Uses: nature close ups and time delay shots Describe Yourself: Photo/Video Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This was more than I hoped for. Its a shutter release for Canon EOS cameras. They make them for other models also. I have a Canon 7D and it works great. I did have an issue with the first one I got though. Having said this , I called CS agent " Joseph" and asked him if he had experienced other customers having problems. I told him that I was willing to upgrade if it was necessary since I really needed one I could depend on. Foolish Maybe ?? Well instead of taking advantage , he replied that compalints were rare to nil and offered to replace it. I got my replacement literally a week later and it works incredible. It may have even been user error but in any case, he honored it and I got a new one 7 days after sending mine out to him and I am having a ball with it getting close ups of birds I couldn't have gotten before. Thanks for GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and a GREAT PRODUCT. |

from Fremont, CA Pros: Great product - Great price! Cons: Best Uses: Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I recently purchased the ALZO Wireless Radio Shutter Release for my Canon 30D digital SLR. I enjoy taking pictures of nature and sometimes just pushing the shutter release with your finger can shake the camera. I love this shutter release. I can set up my tripod to shoot pictures of flowers or hummingbirds and be away from the camera. I have recommended your shutter release to many friends. |

This little unit fits the bill. It's compact and can be triggered from a good distance. I haven't checked the 300 ft. rating but believe it will do as indicated. |

| Product: Wireless Radio Shutter Release 300 ft range for CANON EOS Multi-PIN |
| by Jeff
from Duluth, MN Pros: Very inexpensive. Well built. Cons: None so far Best Uses: Long exposures. Wildlife photography. Describe Yourself: Photo/Video Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Worked flawlessly out of the box. Well built. Excellent value considering it's actually one of the least expensive models available. I haven't yet tested it's maximum range, but it didn't miss a shot at 225 feet. I would recommend this wireless shutter release to anyone considering even a wired remote shutter release. |
| **** (4 stars) Almost perfect |
| Product: Wireless Radio Shutter Release 300 ft range for CANON Digital Rebel |
| by Jerry
from Davis, CA Pros: Functions
well as advertised Cons: No mechanical attachment of the receiver body to the camera Best Uses: Any time you want to remotely trigger your camera: wildlife; long lens; time exposures Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Though I have not used, or tested, this release
at ranges greater than about 20 feet, I have been very pleased with its
performance when and where I have used it. The only negative comment relates
to information I was given over the phone about its method of attachment to
the camera. I was told that a flash shoe attachment was built into the
receiver and that is not true. The shutter release cable is the only
attachment, so the receiver hangs free. I have not found it necessary to use
tape or velcro to more firmly attach the receiver to the camera, but that
would work. |

| Product: Wireless Radio Shutter Release 300 ft range for CANON EOS MULTI-PIN |
| by Phillip
from Colorado Pros: Responsive shutter button. Simple to use. Retractable antenna. Cons: Minor - Wire hangs down and cheap construction. Best Uses: Portrait photos - children. Slow shutter speeds. Camera shake reduction. Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Since I'd received this product I've taken it into the Rocky Mtns of Colorado and tested it. Alzo bosts the range of this device to be 300 ft. I haven't had a chance to put this to a good test, however I haven't hit this devices limit with my usual use on H.D.R. scenic photography. This device has exceded my performance expectations with both scenic and macro photography. Instead of five stars, FOUR & 1/2 STARS --- The construction does feel a little cheap and the receiver hangs down (a little creativity, use a velcro strap to secure it to the camera strap - no longer an issue). Although the construction feels cheap, the darn thing seems to take a lickin', keeps on... Definitely not a deal-breaker. I like how the shutter release button on the transmitter acts just like the shutter release on the camera - depress half way and the camera refocuses/focuses. Very nice product - worth every cent I paid for it. |

Great range Cons: must remember to keep the attachment to the camera turned on Best Uses: long exposure for reduction of camera shake Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This remote shutter release worked perfectly for me from the onset. I also appreciated the rapid response of ALZO to my request to mail a different device to me before my vacation. It got there in plenty of time. |

from New York City Pros: Easy to use Cons: None Best Uses: Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I just received my Radio Shutter Release and it's pretty much awesome. It works really well and it's super easy to use. I have an EOS 30D and the Radio Shutter Release works great and plugs into it perfectly. Also, I am a huge fan of good customer service and I have to say that Alzo was super cool on the phone. They helped me after I accidentally ordered the wrong Shutter Release. There was a real live person there to actually answer the phone. And he had really nice manners. That's such a huge plus for me. I would gladly recommend Alzo to anyone! Thanks. |

SC Pros: distance, wireless, size Cons: battery life is short Best Uses: self photos, small children Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bought the Wireless Radio Shutter Release with 300 ft range for CANON 20D EOS. It was a great add on for shooting my family photos at the Beach this year. The Shutter Release's range worked great for walking on the beach pictures with my wife and 4 year old son. Also works great in the studio for babies and young children when i have to get their attention and can't reach the camera. For me the wireless shutter release is a permanent part of my camera kit. |

| **** (4 stars) Why pay the big bucks for OEM wireless? |
| Product: Wireless Radio Shutter Release |
| by Dave from
Annapolis, MD Pros: Works well, no problems so far. Cons: Best Uses: Whenever a wireless shutter release is needed Describe Yourself: Professional Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend For photographers who need a wireless shutter release occasionally, there is no need to pay the money for the brand names when there is a cheap alternative available. I say "cheap", but that regards price only. The build quality seems to be pretty good for this product. I recently purchased a remote from Alzo Digital (through Amazon) for use with my Canon 5D, and so far, it has worked flawlessly. I recently used the the remoe for my own family reiunion where I was shooting a group of 98 people, and I needed to be in the photo myself. From approximately 50 feet away, I was able to trigger the camera, which in turn was synched to two 580 EXII flash units. The release worked great. I've also begun using the remote right in the camera room as well. I occasionally have been using a wired remote, but a cordless version is so much easier to use, and you can trigger the camera from anywhere in the room. It's great when working with kids, or when you need to avoide camera shake. I highly recommend the Alzo wireless shutter release. You may be able to find similar versions on online auction sites, but I prefer to pay a few extra dollars for the quick and reliable service I have received from Alzo. |

| by Jeff from
Little Rock, AR Pros: So easy to setup anyone can do it! Cons: Not one con I've seen so far! Best Uses: Any photographic situation where you want total control over "when" a shot is taken. Describe Yourself: Occasional Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I recently purchased a Wireless Radio Shutter Release for my Canon 20D and I have been very impressed with the performance and ease of use of this product. If you're interested in more control than a "timed" shutter release then you should definitely look into this product. I searched the internet for the best deal and ended up purchasing from ALZO Digital. By far the best product and a very fair price and ALZO service is excellent! |
