I have used one of these
platforms before. It belonged to a friend but they hadn't cared for it
properly and it was scuffed. So, I bought one for myself.
I was very impressed by the
packing which was great. It also comes with paper protective covering on the
front and back of the platform and the riser.
You can place any type of
background beneath/behind the platform and it prevents hard shadows and the
reflection is nice too.
I have been looking for a
protective film that I can use to prevent scratches, something like the films
used to protect a camera LCD, but much larger. No luck finding anything that
doesn't cost as much as the platform.
