A little unwieldy for what I used it for, portable soft lighting, (yes I actually walk around with a Vivitar 283 and this 2 foot umbrella) so I really wish someone would make a 1-foot diameter instead, but I'm not holding my breath. It's difficult in crowded spaces. And not good if you're trying to be casual and inconspicuous, unless it's raining. But it does give a great even lighting and no light loss through the back. And it's really light enough I can carry this whole thing around (umbrella, flash and a Nikon D50 mounted all on a bracket) with one hand. It gives you enough even light spread for illuminating 3 people from 3 to 5 feet at 100 ISO.
