***** (5 stars) Excellent Tripod
Product: Camera Tripod - ALZO all metal Ball Head - 60"
by Laura from Nevada

Pros: fast setup, light weight, sturdy, grips your camera' great price

Cons: none yet

Best Uses: landscapes, wildlife and studio work

Describe Yourself: Semi-Pro Photographer

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

First I would like to say that the customer service from ALZO is as excellent as their products. The tripod they recommended was perfect for all the hiking I was doing with my camera. The 60" tripod performs as stated, just like in their video. It is light weight, fits perfectly in my Lowpro Vertex 100 backpack and it really holds onto my Nikon D300 with the 24-70 and 80-200 lenses in the vertical position and upside down. It setups very quickly and the adjustments are very fast and easy to use. This is a great tripod at a great price.

Product: ALZO Ball Head Tripod
by Michael W from Spokane, Washington

Pros: easy to use, easy to set up, easy to carry, camera security, sturdy, durable, height positioning (neck and back)

Cons: I only have one at this point in time!!!

Best Uses: landscapes, night shots, self portraits

Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Well, the ALZO Ball Head Tripod is everything I hoped for and better. It is easy to use, quick to adjust and re-adjust and makes it easier to position my camera in the positions other tripods cannot be positioned. This tripod is also easier on the back because of the adjustable center piece! For me, it helps me to concentrate on the point of focus and not how uncomfortable I feel or the pains in my neck and back. I haven't as of yet used the "reverse" aspect of the tripod, but am excited to see the images I capture when I do. I am actually thinking of purchasing another Ball Head because I like this one so much. It's sturdy and durable and doesn't seem to be as bulky as other tripods that weighed less than the Ball Head.

Thank you ALZO for such an awesome product! Even a novice as my self feels a bit more confident in setting up shots that would be almost impossible with a standard pan head!!

Alzo 60" tripod is a sturdy, well built tripod that is easy and quick to set up. The quick release function is a real asset for making quick changes with camera bodies and lenses. The ball head makes changing angles a breeze. The tripod is sturdy, but also light to carry.

I would recommend this product to all photographers looking for a well built tripod that should handle almost all of their photographic needs, whether in the field or in a studio.

***** (5 stars) Here's my "stand"...
Product: 60" Ball-Head tripod
by Dale from Chichester, NH

Pros: Lightweight, rugged, fully adjustable

Cons: Perhaps a carrying case/bag included...?

Best Uses: Anywhere a high-quality tripod is needed - indoors or out!

Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Having used this tripod for more than a month now...I can safely say it's a GREAT value! Lightweight but RUGGED!!! I've used it outdoors on less-than-level ground and found it to be very stable.
Indoors the fully adjustable legs allow me to set up for macro shooting at varying levels, with rock-steady accuracy.
For the price, it's hard to beat this ball-head!

**** (4 stars) A sturdy performer that's a great deal
Product: Ball Head Tripod
by Matthew from Wisconsin

Pros: Construction, price, sturdiness

Cons: Might be too heavy for long hikes

Best Uses: DSLR use, macros, self-portraits, slow exposures

Describe Yourself: Photo Enthusiast

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Searched the Web over for a better tripod for the money, but I returned to ALZO. Customer service was friendly and helpful and the tripod performs as promised. I never worry about my A700 on this one. This is my first ball-head tripod, so it did take a little getting used to the levers. Certainly not as light as carbon tripods, but, again, weight vs. support and price is always a calculation you'll have to make.

That said, I have day-hiked some with this tripod and have managed quite well.
