Best Uses: Probably its only use is providing clearance for large CFL's in standard sockets

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Does what it is supposed to do. I was on a tight budget so I planned to use an adjustable lamp with a 45W CLF and read that the oversized CFL's probably would not fit a regular fitting. They were right! Of course the other issue is the weight of the CFL is a little too much for reliable aiming of the lamp. Seems to be well made. |
