by Melody from Nebraska Pros: Light bulbs last a long time. My subjects are comfortable. They can't burn my subjects! Great brightness! Very easy to position! Cons: I had trouble assembling the largest light, very tight fit for the softbox! I don't dis-assemble them, just leave the boxes together and transport that way, takes up more space, but takes too long to put all back together! The big light is almost too heavy for it's stand, make sure your tripod legs are set up right for proper support, the big one can fall over! Best Uses: This particular set works great for individual shots or shots with small groups. Great for candid shots of kids. Describe Yourself: Occasional Photographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I'm a semi-professional photographer, all self taught. I purchased this set because I had some bad experiences with my hot light set, one of my blue daylight bulbs blew up during a newborn baby session! Scary! I've used my new Alzo light set for several shoots this summer and fall and I'm absolutely satisfied! The light bulbs last much longer than the Smith micro hot portrait light system I was using, the subjects don't get uncomfortable, I don't have to worry about a little one burning their hand and they are much brighter than what I was using. Of course I've had to play with my colors some in my Raw settings compared to the warmer colors my hot lights produced, but I feel my photos are improved with my new Alzo lights! I would suggest these lights to anyone looking for a constant light portrait set for their studio! A+! |

extremely heavy, almost too heavy for the stands. Also the instructions on
