The real beauty of these lamps is their 'Instant-On', plus their light is magnificent; uniform between lamps and quite bright (especially when compared to the rest of the market).

I know it says that I am, but I'm not a photographer or an artist, I am simply someone who was tired of having dull, irritatingly yellow incandescent lights in my house. So I bought a four pack of Alzo bulbs and they are everything I was looking for and more. I put them in my bathroom and I have had people tell me that it looks like I have sunlight coming in from somewhere. The perfect daylight-temperature light does a great job of waking me up in the morning and I never miss anything when I shave anymore. Plus, for the price there is no better value available if you're looking for daylight-temp, high CRI bulbs. 5 Stars!

This item has been a boon to me. Along with the socket extenders, it breathed new life into my old Smith-Victor lights. The light temperature was perfect. I bounced the lights off white sheets which I have hung up on three sides of my sun porch. This enabled me to get a very evenly balanced, indirect light for photographing vintage pillow covers made of silk, rayon and acetate, very shiny substances. These lights do not heat up the room and they perform as advertised. I can leave them on and correctly position the pillow covers as desired. I bought these and then bought a higher wattage set which works even better. At a later date I will be using these to photograph some quilts. I have a large number of these to photograph and some time next year they will be published in my wife's latest book.

I can't praise these enough, so far they have worked perfectly and they fit my budget.

These bulbs are very good for gem stone and jewelry photos, and have a very long life. I purchased these bulbs not as replacements, but to expand my photo studio setup. The original bulbs have been in intermittent use for several years, and are still providing a very good color balance for photographing colored gems.

I purchased these bulbs to replace the overhead lights above the mat in our martial arts school. Not only is the lighting now suitable for video and still photography without filters, but it is also just more pleasing for clients during training.

Wonderful Lights. Actually purchased for household lighting as I wanted to save electricity while still preserving a comfortable and sun-like spectrum. I was not impressed with the offerings found in most hardware stores, but these are wonderful. They have also earned my favor with interior photography, letting me keep my colors accurate.

Very good.
It would help if the base were smaller around so the product would fit into more light sockets.

It would help if you had smaller sizes, to replace smaller wattage bulbs like 60 w and 100 w.
